Introduction
MEDIAINFO SRL, based in Via Castello 13, 36050, Monteviale (Vi) and VAT No. 04323530248, (hereinafter, the "Data Controller"), in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and current legislation, recognizes the centrality of personal data protection, considering it one of the essential purposes of its activities.
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application OkDrive (hereinafter, the "App").
1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is MEDIAINFO SRL, with registered office in Via Castello 13, 36050, Monteviale (Vi), VAT No. 04323530248.
2. Personal data subject to processing
The App collects and processes the following data:
- Configuration Data (Gender, Weight): Used exclusively locally on the device to calculate the estimated blood alcohol level. This data is not transmitted to our servers in any way, nor shared with third parties. It remains solely on your smartphone.
- Location Data (GPS): If authorized, the App uses the user's location to show nearby Taxi services. The location is not tracked or stored on our servers.
- Navigation/Diagnostic Data: Technical data about the device (model, operating system, crash logs) collected anonymously to ensure the proper functioning of the App.
3. Purpose of processing and legal basis
The data is processed for the following purposes:
- To provide the main features of the App (local blood alcohol calculation and quick taxi search).
- Technical maintenance and improvement of the App.
The legal basis for the processing is the performance of the service requested by the user (Art. 6, par. 1, let. b GDPR) and explicit consent for access to sensors such as GPS (Art. 6, par. 1, let. a GDPR).
4. Methods of processing and storage
Sensitive data (such as physical information for alcohol calculation) never leaves the device and is processed locally. Therefore, the Data Controller neither stores them nor has access to them.
Any anonymous diagnostic data is stored for the time strictly necessary to analyze and resolve issues (maximum 12 months).
5. Transfer and Sharing
The Data Controller does not sell, transfer or share personal data with third parties. Taxi search services simply provide public contacts of local transport companies.
6. Rights of the data subject
In accordance with the GDPR, the Data Subject may exercise their rights at any time, including access, rectification, cancellation, and withdrawal of consent (for example, by disabling GPS from phone settings).
Since the blood alcohol profiling data is saved locally, the user can easily delete it by uninstalling the App or clearing the App data from the device settings.
